Executive Leadership Opportunity Title: Staff Vice President – Healthcare Product Reporting Into: Enterprise Digital Platforms & AI Executive Leadership Scope: Enterprise-wide | Team Size: 80+ Work Model: Hybrid (3 days on-site) Location: Multiple U.S. enterprise hub options (Midwest / Southeast / Mid‐Atlantic) Context (Confidential)A Fortune 20 healthcare enterprise is undertaking a significant transformation to become a platform-first, product-led organization, modernizing how technology enables internal teams, business leaders, and end users across a highly regulated ecosystem.A new executive leadership role is being established to build and operationalize a unified Technology Product discipline—moving the organization away from fragmented, project-based delivery toward scalable, outcome-driven platforms and experiences.This role carries direct execution accountability, not advisory oversight.Mandate SummaryThe Staff VP, Experience & Technology Product is the enterprise owner of product operating excellence, responsible for embedding product thinking, platform reuse, lifecycle governance, and experience instrumentation across shared digital platforms.This leader will drive: Platform adoption and reuse Internal experience modernization Legacy system decommissioning Product governance and prioritization aligned to enterprise outcomesSuccess is measured by measurable business impact, not roadmap completion.Core Responsibilities Enterprise Product Strategy & Platform Leadership Define and execute the enterprise digital product strategy across shared platforms. Champion a "build once, serve many” operating model. Translate platform vision into outcome-based OKRs tied to trust, affordability, cost efficiency, growth, and equity. Lead enterprise roadmap reviews, funding forums, and prioritization governance. Technology Enablement & Lifecycle Execution Operationalize an enterprise Unified Workbench to reduce internal friction and improve delivery velocity. Partner with architecture and engineering leadership to retire legacy systems at scale. Establish reusable components, shared services, and experience patterns. Embed AI/ML-driven guidance and automation into core platforms. Product Discipline & Governance Stand up and lead a centralized Tech Product Office (structure, standards, metrics). Chair a cross-business Product Council to govern investments, adoption, and prioritization. Codify product management standards including: Journey-based prioritization Impact-driven OKRs Experience and platform instrumentation Launch internal product capability-building programs. Cross-Functional Executive Leadership Operate as a peer and partner to enterprise strategy, technology, business line, clinical, finance, and marketing leadership. Lead multi-disciplinary teams spanning product, UX, engineering, and delivery. Align capacity planning and investment models with financial leadership. Talent, Culture & Change Leadership Build and scale senior product strategists, enablement leaders, and experience architects. Sponsor enterprise change initiatives shifting the organization from project to product orientation. Foster a culture of accountability, experimentation, and psychological safety. Ideal Executive ProfileExperience 12+ years leading enterprise digital or platform transformations. Proven success building new product operating models within complex, matrixed organizations. Track record of modernizing platforms and decommissioning legacy technology. Experience in highly regulated industries strongly preferred.
