Senior Director Of Operations It, Managed Services & AiAs the Senior Director of Operations IT, Managed Services & AI, you will serve as the operational command center for our IT Services Division, ensuring that projects, deliverables, and initiatives are executed on time, on budget, and in alignment with business priorities as set forth by the CEO, CFO, CTO and Executive VP. This leader will own IT EXECUTION DISCIPLINE, enforcing internal and external deadlines, tracking progress across cross-functional team, and maintaining operational excellence across all Digital/AI programs.As a premier consulting and technology firm, alliant is focused on providing solutions to help businesses transform and thrive while acting as their ongoing growth partner. alliant offers six different service lines to our clients and this role acquires new clients for all service lines.Responsibilities:Operational Leadership & ExecutionOversee daily operations of the IT department and IT Services Delivery, both in Houston and Hyderabad, India, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and deadlinesEnforce adherence to project timelines, deliverables, and milestones across infrastructure, software development, end user support, Cloud, Cyber, and digital transformation initiativesImplement operational frameworks for tracking, reporting, and escalation of at-risk projects or delayed deliverablesCenters of Excellence & Scalable Service DeliveryEstablish and operate specialized Centers of Excellence for core IT processes including End User Support, Network Management, Cloud Management, Cyber and Bus App DevelopmentDesign and implement scalable methodologies that ensure consistent services delivery regardless of individual personnel expertise or availabilityCreate standardized process workflows with built-in redundancies and cross-training protocols to maintain service continuityDevelop modular service delivery frameworks that can be rapidly scaled up or down based on client demands/needsImplement knowledge management systems that capture institutional knowledge and make it accessible across all service delivery teamsGovernance & AccountabilityDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), service-level agreements (SLAs), and performance dashboardsHold internal teams and external vendors accountable for delivery timelines and quality standardsLead the cadence of daily stand ups and weekly operations reviewsTeam Leadership & DevelopmentBuild and lead high-performing IT delivery teams across multiple geographiesEstablish comprehensive training programs for technical and soft skills developmentImplement performance management systems and career development frameworksEnsure multi-lingual capabilities and cultural competency across teamsMaintain industry-leading retention rates and employee satisfaction scoresFoster a culture of discipline, ownership, and transparency across all IT initiativesPartner closely with the CEO, CFO, CTO and Executive VP to forecast staffing, budgets, and operational resourcesProcess Optimization & Continuous ImprovementAnalyze workflows, identify inefficiencies, and drive automation or AI-enabled solutions to improve operational speed and accuracyLead KPI tracking and continuous improvement programs across IT service delivery and supportIntegrate tools to standardize execution and visibilityQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or PMP certification preferredPreferred 15+ years of progressive experience in IT operations and managed servicesDemonstrated experience in building and operating IT Centers of ExcellencePreferred 10+ years in a leadership or director-level role overseeing cross-functional IT teamsExceptional leadership and team management capabilities across multiple specialized teams and geographiesProven success in enforcing deadlines, managing complex technical programs, and delivering measurable outcomesStrong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and managed servicesExceptional organizational, oral and written communication, and leadership skills; ability to present complex Information Technology solutions to non-IT executive audiencesData-driven decision-maker with experience in operational metrics and dashboards; strong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesPreferred experience in change management and organizational transformationHigh sense of urgency with the ability to adapt quickly to changing prioritiesReceptiveness to performance feedback within a team environment is essentialalliant offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package including 100% employer paid medical/dental premiums for single coverage for certain options, 401(k) matching, PTO, company provided life insurance and disability, onsite gym and group fitness classes, paid covered parking, daily allowance for onsite caf and Starbucks, and more!
