Anticipated Opening - Position is contingent on funding and student enrollmentSchool Spring #5704299Title of Position: Moody Preschool ESY ProgramWork Year: Summer 2026June 29th - August 6thMonday - Thursday-weekly planning Meetings as well as Pre and Post-work8:15 am - 11:45 pm (Subject to change based on student enrollment; start and stop times)Work Location: Moody PreschoolSalary: $15.00/hr (if for any reason the canidate selected does not complete the appointment, compensation will based upon time served)Organizational Relationshipor Line of Authority: Directly responsible to the Summer Extended Year Coordinator and/or the Direct of Special Education and/or his/her designeeStatement of Duties:Assists the staff in greeting students at the bus and student drop off before school and escorts them at the end of their daily session.Works in the classroom, halls, lunch area and other areas of the building.Support and encourage students attending the Summer AcademyServes as a positive role model, both in the classroom and throughout campusServes as a positive academic and social role modelWork as a member of a team with other staffDisplays ethical and professional behavior in communicating and working with staff, students and community members.Responsible for other duties as indicated by directives of the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designees; and policies of the Haverhill School Committee.Qualifications:Ability to work with childrenAble to work with a diverse populationBilingual preferredReliable and PunctualEnsure the confidentiality of privileged information.Demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skillsHave a genuine desire to help students succeedSelf-motivated with a positive attitudeSuch alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.HAVERHILL PUBLIC SCHOOLS IS A DIVERSE ENVIRONMENT AND IS PROUD TO BE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
