Manufacturing Engineer

About the RoleDSJ Global is partnered with a leading manufacturer in the wire and cable space seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join their engineering team. In this role, you'll lead process improvements, troubleshoot production challenges, and contribute to the development of innovative manufacturing solutions. You'll work under the guidance of the Engineering Manager or a senior engineer, collaborating across departments to drive efficiency and quality.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or a Technical field OR Meets the qualifications of an Associate EngineerNo license or certification requiredEligible candidates must have existing authorization to work in the country, as visa sponsorship cannot be provided now or in the future.Key ResponsibilitiesLead small-scale process development and improvement initiativesProvide hands-on troubleshooting and technical support for manufacturingprocessesIdentify and propose improvement projectsDemonstrate understanding of cable electrical performanceExhibit deep expertise in at least one manufacturing processDevelop standardized documentation and conduct trainingCoordinate and execute trials in compliance with the Quality SystemDesign and perform equipment qualification trialsAssist in maintaining process sheets, BOMs, and product buildsParticipate in plant improvement teams and eventsProfessional SkillsStrong collaboration across departmentsPositive attitude and customer-focused mindsetRespectful and team-oriented communicationInitiative, creativity, and effective problem-solvingAbility to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities
