Operating with integrity, transparency, and accountability is central to how we do business, and we are looking for professionals who align with these values.About The RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Safety & Compliance professional who thrives in an independent, overnight environment and takes ownership of maintaining safe, compliant, and audit-ready operations.As the Overnight Safety & Compliance Manager, you will serve as the primary safety leader during overnight hours, ensuring drivers, equipment, and operations meet all FMCSA, DOT, and California regulatory requirements.This role requires strong judgment, accountability, and the ability to respond to real-time incidents while maintaining the integrity of our compliance programs.Location, Schedule & CompensationLocation: North Richland Hills, TX (Onsite – Shop Facility)Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 PM – 4:00 AM (PST)Compensation: starting at $70,000 annually plus incentives, based on experienceKey ResponsibilitiesRegulatory Compliance & AuditsEnsure compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and California (BIT Program) regulationsConduct audits and maintain Driver Qualification (DQ) FilesMonitor driver credential expirations (CDL, medical certificates, endorsements)Oversee the Employer Pull Notice (EPN) programDriver Compliance & Risk ManagementReview Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs) and identify compliance risksMonitor driver violations, suspensions, and compliance alertsPartner with Recruiting and Operations to ensure qualified driver onboardingMaintain accurate compliance documentationDOT Drug & Alcohol ProgramAdminister and monitor DOT drug and alcohol testing programsEnsure compliance with random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion testingMaintain DOT Clearinghouse compliance and reportingCoordinate with third-party testing providersSafety Systems & Data ManagementAudit and manage safety platforms such as SamsaraReview Hours of Service (HOS) configurations and driver profilesMonitor completion of required safety trainingManage DataQ submissions to correct safety data when necessaryOvernight Incident ResponseServe as the primary safety contact during overnight hoursLead response to accidents, incidents, and safety concernsEnsure proper documentation and post-accident proceduresFacility & Shop SafetyConduct safety observations within shop and operational environmentsIdentify hazards and report findings to leadershipSupport OSHA, DOT, and internal safety standardsRequired QualificationsKnowledge of FMCSA and DOT safety regulationsExperience managing Driver Qualification (DQ) FilesExperience with DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing ProgramsFamiliarity with DOT Clearinghouse requirementsExperience reviewing Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs)Strong analytical, auditing, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently in an overnight environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office or similar systemsReliable transportationPreferred QualificationsExperience in transportation, logistics, or fleet operationsFamiliarity with Samsara, Idelic, or similar platformsKnowledge of California BIT inspectionsWork EnvironmentOnsite at shop facilityOvernight schedule (7:00 PM – 4:00 AM)Mix of hands-on operational oversight + compliance administrationOccasional flexibility for training or incident responseWhy This Role MattersThis position plays a critical role in maintaining regulatory compliance, reducing risk, and supporting safe operations.
