Mental Health Counselor / Therapist, LPCA, LMSW

Job Description: Provide excellent quality clinical care on a consistent basis that exemplifies Rivia Mind's culture, values, and guiding principlesService and maintain a weekly average standard of 31 patients across self-pay, insurance, and MedicareMaintain a consistent weekly patient care schedule in alignment with Rivia Mind's standard productivity expectationsFollow Care Model practices that emphasize continuity of care, high-frequency follow-up appointments, and effective calendar managementConduct comprehensive intake evaluations and develop curated patient-centered treatment plansProvide appropriate Psychotherapy practices that leverage various modalities (CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, etc.)Provide clinical support & counseling to diverse patient populations in a telehealth environmentCoach patients on how to manage ongoing health conditions and provide therapy to help patients make positive behavior changesCounsel and provide crisis intervention for patients, including assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral problemsComply with clinical standards and adhere to timely and thorough session note documentationPromote a friendly work culture that encourages a fun, collaborative, and co-learning environment that benefits individuals' well-being, self-improvement, and potentialPerform other related role and team function duties as assigned by department and group leadersRequirements: Active Connecticut State License (LMSW/LPCA) - Candidates must be license-eligible or hold an active associate-level license or permit (e.g., LMSW, LSW, LAC, MHC or equivalent)OR–have up to 2 years of post-licensure experience (not independently licensed)Where applicable, completion of the required licensure examination is preferred.Certifications in specific modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR) are a plus.Education Details: Master's in Social Work or a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related graduate degreeAt least one (1) year of experience practicing Psychotherapy (Practicum clinical experience applies)Additional Language Fluency is a plusExperience or desire to work with Couples is a plusMulti-Disciplinary TeamworkProficient with utilizing diverse technology platforms and systems (Google Suite, company-wide platforms/software and EHR platforms when applicable)Intermediate computer skills and technical aptitude requiredBenefits: 3 weeks of front-loaded PTO + Milestone IncreasesAnnual office closure (Dec 25–Jan 1) + 7 additional paid holidaysAnnual Impact Days for volunteering or professional developmentAnnual Continuing Education (CE) Stipend + Flexible Benefit ReimbursementMedical, dental, and vision insurance — with EAP and additional wellness programsVoluntary benefits, HSA, DCA, FSA (based on plan), transit & parking options401(k) with employer matchReferral bonus potentialBereavement leave (including pet bereavement)
