Brief Overview Of PositionStrategic Operational Solutions (STOPSO) is seeking candidates for a Program Manager role to support a federal client where we are focused on delivering innovative operations and solutions through proven successful methods. The ideal applicant is versatile, with a broad background and demonstrated ability to produce quality work. You must be comfortable in a challenging, collaborative, multi-tasking, dynamic, high-tempo, deadline-intensive environment with a flexible work schedule supporting multiple customers. The role is for an onsite PM to be based out of a DHS office in Springfield, VA with routine support being provided at other DHS facilities in the National Capital Region.Description Of DutiesServe as the Government's single Point of Contact (POC) for this effort and shall be authorized to report on the status of and direct all activities and staff under this effort working routinely with the Contracting Officer and the CORResponsible for all Contractor work performed under this task orderDevelop and deliver IT security policy and guidance that aligns with federally mandated IT security requirementsLeverage modern and Agile methods in leading the teamEducation, Experience, And Security RequirementsMust have a bachelor's degree in computer science or related fieldMust have at least seven (7) years IT security experience, with at least five (5) years of direct supervision of IT security projectsSpecifically, the currency, quality, and depth of experience of a PM candidate working on similar projects (size, scope, magnitude, duration, complexity)Must have one of the following certifications: PMP, GISP, CISM, CISSP or equivalentMust be able to read, write, speak, and understand English with a focus on technical and professional writingObtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability
