Mechanical Assembler
Terms of Employment:• W2 Contract, 12 Months• Onsite at Pasdena, TX• Work Schedule : M-F 7am-3:30pm with some weekend and other OT hours when neededOverview:The Mechanical Assembler works with complex components per the mechanical drawings and/or bill of material.Responsibilities include:• Assembles complex components per assembly drawings / bill of material.• Performs functional testing on assemblies.• Tests assemblies per customer and/or division criteria.• Operates test equipment in compliance with engineering standards.• Applies settings, calibrates and maintains assembly tools.• Performs torquing of various components. Distributes quality notifications (qn's).Required Skills & Experience:• High School Diploma or GED• Background in oil & gas, energy, or industrial manufacturing• Standing for extended periods throughout the shift• Ability to lift to 40–50 lbs• Industrial/manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures• Required use of PPE, including steel-toe boots, safety glasses, and gloves• Experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or industrial environments• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and BOMs• Basic mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality• Reliable attendance and punctuality• Ability to work assigned shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed• Strong adherence to attendance, punctuality, and schedule reliability• Willingness to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment• Experience with filtration or separation systems (including Becker balls)• Familiarity with pneumatic systems and testing equipment________________________________________nTech is an equal opportunity employer.
