🚀 Hiring: Senior Software Engineer – Command & Control (C2)*Must be a US citizen*I’m partnering with a growing space technology company that is transforming how satellite fleets are operated. We’re searching for a Senior Software Engineer to develop the backend Command & Control software connecting its platform to a wide variety of spacecraft.This is an excellent opportunity for someone experienced in machine-to-machine communications, complex systems integration, or software that communicates with remote hardware. Prior space industry experience is valuable—but not required.What we’re looking for:• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience• Strong Python and/or Rust development skills• Experience with embedded systems, distributed systems, networking, telecommunications, robotics, IoT, industrial automation, or similar hardware/software systems• Knowledge of communication protocols, binary serialization, packetization, message routing, error handling, or state management• Experience taking an interface or protocol specification through implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and production• Satellite C2 standards such as CCSDS, CSP, CFDP, XTCE, or MIB are advantageous, but not essential• Kubernetes, DevSecOps, relational databases, or time-series database experience is a plusThe role involves creating scalable integrations that allow different spacecraft, protocols, and missions to communicate reliably with one unified platform.If you’ve built software that communicates with complex or intermittently connected systems—even outside aerospace—I’d love to speak with you.#SoftwareEngineering #SpaceJobs #Aerospace #CommandAndControl #Python #Rust #EmbeddedSystems #DistributedSystems #SatelliteTechnology #Hiring
