Job Title: Pharmacist (RPH) – Long Term Care / Specialty Pharmacy Location: Las Vegas, NV Schedule: Friday – Monday | 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM Hours: Approximately 30 hours/week Employment Type: Contract to Hire (Potential FTE Conversion Based on Performance) Job Summary: We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist (RPH) to support pharmacy operations in a long-term care/specialty pharmacy environment.Skills, Experience, Qualifications, If you have the right match for this opportunity, then make sure to apply today.The pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing prescriptions, coordinating clinical services for specialty medications, and ensuring accurate and compliant pharmacy operations.Key Responsibilities: • Review patient profiles, drug interactions, sensitivities, and medication usage history • Verify and dispense prescription medications accurately • Perform final quality checks on prescriptions for dosage and accuracy • Resolve prescription issues through physician clarification and follow-up calls • Handle External Adjudication (EA) queue orders and related issues • Enter prescriptions into pharmacy systems accurately • Communicate with patients, physicians, and healthcare professionals regarding medication-related questions and care coordination • Assist with therapeutic interventions and doctor call activities as assigned • Maintain compliance with quality assurance procedures, controlled substance regulations, and hazardous waste disposal protocols • Work collaboratively with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow and patient safety Required Qualifications: • Active Pharmacist license in good standing (State of Nevada required) • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required • Minimum 1–2 years of pharmacist experience in retail, specialty, or long-term care pharmacy setting • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Basic computer proficiency and pharmacy system experience • High xevrcyc attention to detail and organizational skills • High School Diploma or GED required Preferred Qualifications: • Previous experience in specialty or long-term care pharmacy preferred • Experience handling specialty medications and clinical pharmacy services is a plus Additional Information: • Potential for full-time conversion based on performance and business needs • Candidates must be comfortable working evening/night shifts and communicating with patients and providers via phone and email Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 1- 3 years Salary: $55
