You will build processes and systems to scale our operations 10x efficiently while achieving high student and partner company outcomes.This role reports directly into our Director, Operations.What you'll do:Drive strategic initiatives to improve a large portion of the student journey from learning to job placementDesign and implement experiments to improve student retention, learning, and placement outcomes, identifying opportunities for improved processes and automation at scaleOptimize operations and metrics tracking for a growing team of student experience professionals, including coaches, instructors, and placement coordinatorsOwn end-to-end projects, including revamping processes, scoping product features, and hiring student experience professionalsOwn and achieve the student success metrics, including learning outcomes, certification, placement, and satisfaction ratesWork cross-functionally with our product, learning, and engineering teams to provide visibility into students' and student experience professionals' feedback to help inform their product roadmapsWhat you'll bring:5+ years of consulting or business operations experience in a direct-to-consumer startup, preferably in an edtech or healthcare environmentAnalytical acumen, an ability to optimize metrics, and a knack for successfully developing action plans to meet business goalsAbility to own both strategy & executionAbility to align multiple stakeholders on the strategic direction for the businessAbility to work directly with external partners and clientsBonus points if:You have an MBAYou've previously worked at a startupYou have experience working in healthcareInterview Process:Step 1: Introductory call with Talent Acquisition team memberStep 2: Hiring Manager interviewStep 3: Take-home assignmentStep 4: Virtual panel interviewStep 5: On-site panel interview in NYCBenefits and Compensation:Meaningful Equity StakeSubsidized Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plan options401(k)FSA, HSA and commuter benefitsOpen vacation policy, including:Guidance of 15 days PTO annuallyStepful closed the last week of December15 work-from-anywhere days10 public holidays observed for 2026The target base salary range for this opportunity is $140,000 - $165,000, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including equity and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, internal pay equity and other relevant business considerations.
