Built on grit, strong partnerships, and long-term thinking, Halfday is scaling with a focus on disciplined execution and durable growth.Role OverviewThe Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for driving retail execution, distribution growth, and revenue performance within an assigned territory. This role focuses on maximizing in-store presence, velocity, and strategic account relationships while ensuring consistent execution of brand standards.Core Focus AreasRevenue & Performance:Deliver monthly and quarterly sales and volume targetsDrive velocity (units per store per week) and account for productivityIdentify and execute growth opportunities across the territoryDistribution & MerchandisingExpand distribution and SKU placement across all accountsSecure secondary placements (endcaps, side caps, coolers)Ensure pricing, shelf position, and POS execution meet brand standardsAccount ManagementBuild relationships with store managers, distributors, and brokersAct as the primary field representative for the brandInfluence store-level decisions to unlock incremental growthField ExecutionConduct weekly route rides and store visits- where applicableIdentify and resolve out-of-stocks, voids, and execution gapsPrioritize high-impact accounts and opportunitiesData & ReportingTrack execution using tools – RepslyReport distribution gains, display wins, and performance insightsUse data to inform territory strategy and actionsSampling & ActivationExecute in-store demos and sampling programs through 3rd party demo companiesDrive trial, conversion, and brand awarenessPerformance Metrics (KPIs)Sales volume and revenue growthDistribution points (new + retained)Velocity (units per store per week)Display placements securedIn-stock rate and void reductionStore coverage and visit frequencyExecution compliance (pricing, placement, POS)Standard ExpectationsMaintain daily field presence and consistent account coverageExecute against company playbooks and retail standardsDemonstrate ownership and accountability for territory performanceCommunicate proactively with internal and external partnersOperate with urgency, professionalism, and adaptabilityQualifications1+ years of beverage or CPG sales experienceStrong communication and relationship-building skillsProven ability to drive retail execution and resultsOrganized with strong time and territory management skillsComfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentValid driver’s license and reliable transportationSummaryThis role is critical to scaling market performance through execution excellence, strategic selling, and consistent field engagement.
