It features original works by founder MiYoung Margolis and hosts monthly juried exhibitions showcasing local and international artists. The gallery aims to create a safe and inclusive environment for meaningful dialogue and artistic exploration.Role DescriptionThis is a part-time (10 hrs/week), unpaid, on-site Summer Intern role based in Seattle, WA. The Summer Intern will assist with day-to-day operations of the gallery, including event coordination, artist support, exhibition setup, and administrative tasks. Responsibilities may also include marketing support, social media management, and community engagement. The intern will play an integral role in maintaining the gallery’s welcoming atmosphere and fostering connections with visitors and participants.QualificationsCurrent or recent graduate receiving credit for their internshipExperience in event coordination, scheduling, and organizational tasksStrong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with artists, visitors, and the communityFamiliarity with social media platforms and content creationA passion for arts, culture, and creating inclusive community environmentsProficiency in basic software such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite, or other project management toolsTime management skills and ability to multitask in a dynamic environmentPreferred: Knowledge or background in the arts, gallery operations, or event planning
