Inner Tube Trainee - Production

Job Description Position Summary:Inner Tube Assembler TraineeThe Inner Tube Assembler is responsible for the optical system of the endoscope as well as ensuring that the product is free from visible dirt, dust, or scratches. This will include cleaning, bonding, checking, and testing the final product. Opportunities for growth within the company including: Inner Tube Technician, Inner Tube Specialist, or Inner Tube Coordinator. Work Hours and Location: 40-hour work week in Dudley, MA with flexible work schedule after training periodReports To: Designated Team Leader or Inner Tube Coordinator, where applicableEssential FunctionsTypical responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Disassembly of optical systems (unloading from tube)Clean and inspect unloaded optical componentsAlignment and rebuilding of optical systemsAlignment and bonding of optical componentsInspect for function and against specificationsThis position requires strong visual inspection skills Other duties as requested, directed, or assigned based on knowledge and training experienceQualifications RequiredMicroscope experienceAbility to maintain precise hand eye coordination to perform detailed tasks with accuracyTypical Physical RequirementsMust be able to sit and use a microscope and/or an eye loop for up to 7 hours a dayMust be in the position to utilize precise optical positioning equipmentMust have excellent hand / eye coordinationIt is necessary to be able to walk between manufacturing equipment and workbenchCompensation & Benefits$17.87 – $18.87 per hour depending on experience. This range represents the amount the company reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role.
