A company is looking for an Engineering Manager, Data Systems.
Key Responsibilities
Build and lead a high-performing team of software engineers
Collaborate with data scientists and geoscientists to plan and deliver impactful projects
Contribute to projects as an individual contributor while working on strategy with interdisciplinary leaders
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in building production software systems
3+ years in an engineering leadership role
Experience with robust distributed cloud data systems, preferably with large geospatial datasets
Deep understanding of various database and data storage technologies
Formal education or job exposure to natural sciences
