Key responsibilities include: Leadership & Management Lead and manage daily operations, ensuring all team members are accountable for their roles and performance. Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency. Foster a positive and productive work environment that aligns with the company’s core values. Staffing & Scheduling Recruit, hire, train, and manage seasonal staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels throughout the operating period. Create and maintain staff schedules, ensuring proper coverage and compliance with labor regulations. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff to encourage growth and improvement. Vendor Contracts & Relationships Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to support operational needs. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors for restocking as necessary. Community Relations Act as the primary point of contact for community outreach and engagement. Represent The Ice Palace at community events, fostering positive relationships with local businesses and stakeholders. Develop and implement community engagement initiatives that align with The Ice Palace’s brand and values. Financial Management Manage cash handling procedures and oversee daily financial reconciliations. Operational Oversight Oversee all on-site operations, including guest services, safety protocols, and facility maintenance. Implement and enforce health and safety standards to ensure the well-being of guests and staff. Troubleshoot operational challenges and address any issues promptly to minimize disruption. Marketing & Sales Support Provide feedback to the marketing team around promotional strategies and special events to drive attendance. Monitor ticket sales and adjust operations as needed to optimize guest flow and experience. Provide feedback and insights to the marketing team based on guest interactions and trends. Customer Experience Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by maintaining excellent customer service standards. Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner. Gather guest feedback to continuously improve the overall experience at The Ice Palace. Seasonal Closeout & Planning Coordinate end-of-season closeout procedures, including inventory management, staff offboarding, and site cleanup. Prepare a detailed report on the season's performance, including successes, challenges, and recommendations for future improvements. Assist in planning for the next season, including feedback on staffing, operations, and community engagement.
