Youth Soccer Coordinator

DescriptionThe Youth Soccer Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the development, organization, delivery and administration of youth soccer leagues, recreational programs, and activities targeted toward youth soccer. The Youth Soccer Coordinator assists in the recruitment, hiring, and supervision of the youth soccer program staff.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development, organization, delivery and administration of youth soccer leagues, tournaments, recreational programs, activities and awards.Assist in planning, organize, schedule, and direct all games, facilities, officials, and scorekeepers for youth soccer programs and activitiesAssist in the recruitment, hiring, on-boarding, training, development and supervision of the soccer sport team membersEnsure a high level of customer service for all program participantsEnsures that program standards are metProvides data and reports for programs as neededAssist in producing and managing the program budget to ensure revenue and program service goals are achieved.Assist the Lil Kickers coaches with program planning, instructing, supervision and a mentor for the program.Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed, required, or assigned by supervisory personnel (Soccer Tournament Directors, Manager on Duty, etc.) along with the Youth Programs Director, Sports Director and/or the General Manager RequirementsDemonstrated leadership abilityDisplay strong verbal communication skillsMust demonstrate the desire to work with kids and communicate effectively with kids and their parentsDisplay professionalism in appearance and interaction with guestsMust have strong time management skills, to multi-task and prioritizeAbility to remain calm and focused in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentAbility to work in difficult and stressful environmentsAbility to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbility to remain calm and professional in emergency situationsAvailability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if necessaryQualifications Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:Minimum of three (3) years of experience developing, implementing, scheduling and evaluating soccer recreation programsMinimum of one (1) year of supervisory experienceDetail oriented and posses strong organizational skillsKnowledge of rules in soccer/sports recreation program activitiesStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsCreative thinker with a history of applying innovation in programmingExcellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build community relationshipsBasic skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word and ExcelPhysical Demands:Standing: Constantly (>66%)Sitting: Frequently (33-66%)Kneeling: Rarely (>10%)
