The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing the internal funding initiation process, coordinating the creation of compatible coding across the accounting, payroll, and case management systems. This position also maintains budgets in the accounting system for MPD’s service contracts with nonprofit and government agencies, adding amendments as they are received. The Accounts Receivable Specialist receives general supervision from the Controller. This position pays $42,930.00 - $68,423.00 per year. Staff is an at-will employee. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. The position is in-person and in-office. In addition to compensation, MPD also offers: Medical (choice of PPO or HDHP), Dental (choice of PPO Standard or PPO Enhanced) and Vision – 100% employer paid for employee only coverage. Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) Basic Life, STD, LTD and ADD&D – 100% employer paid. 401(K) – MPD will contribute 6% of your annual salary with full vesting after the completion of 5 years of service PTO – 24 hours upon hire and accrues to 80 hours annually. Annual accrual increases to 120 hours starting at 24 months. 10 paid holidays + 2 floating holidays (summer and winter) 4 Mental Health Days per year Sick Leave – 48 hours upon hire + 48 hours after the completion of six months of employment and accrue 96 hours each service anniversary. Position Qualifications Minimum three years’ experience in an Accounts Receivable or accounting role preferred Prior experience with grants, including federal funding, is a plus Position Preferences Excellent attention to detail and time management. Exceptional mathematical and calculation skills. Working knowledge of ADP and NetSuite. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
