Temporary Project Scheduler
Location: Everett, MA | On-sitePay Range: $45-$55/hourSchedule: Full-time, temporary | Monday-Friday, 7-4Required: 5+ years of project scheduling experience in transportation, infrastructure, construction, engineering, or technology deploymentApplicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future.About the OpportunityA transportation and infrastructure company is seeking an experienced Temporary Project Scheduler to support complex projects across transportation, rail, infrastructure, construction, engineering, and technology deployment. This role will develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules while partnering with project managers, engineering teams, subcontractors, field personnel, and clients to support successful project delivery.Required Qualifications & Skills5+ years of project scheduling experience in transportation, infrastructure, construction, engineering, or technology deploymentProven experience developing and maintaining complex project schedules.Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6Strong knowledge of project controls, scheduling principles, and Critical Path Method (CPM)Ability to analyze schedule impacts, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategiesProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong organizational, communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities independentlyKey Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6Create and manage resource-loaded schedules for transportation, construction, engineering, and technology projectsPartner with project managers, engineering teams, field personnel, subcontractors, and clients to gather schedule inputs and updatesMonitor progress against baseline schedules, identifying variances, risks, and potential impactsConduct critical path analysis (CPM) and identify schedule risks, recovery strategies, and corrective actionsDevelop schedule forecasts and provide recommendations to support project deliveryPrepare schedule reports, dashboards, milestone updates, and executive presentationsSupport project planning, including work breakdown structures (WBS), sequencing, resource planning, and schedule developmentTrack project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and constraintsSupport earned value management (EVM), schedule performance metrics, and other project controls activitiesParticipate in project review meetings and communicate schedule status to stakeholdersEnsure scheduling practices align with client requirements and industry best practicesSupport proposals through schedule development and project planningApply TodayBring your project scheduling and Primavera P6 expertise to complex transportation and infrastructure initiatives where strong planning and project controls directly contribute to successful delivery.
