Full-Time Patient Services Representative Are you passionate about helping kids be their best selves?UPMC Children's Community Pediatrics is hiring a Full-Time Patient Services Representative to support the office in Erie.EPIC experience and Insurance Verification preferred.Responsibilities: Patient Interaction: Greet patients, assist with check-in, collect copayments, and update information.Scheduling: Arrange follow-up appointments and connect patients to services.Support: Help patients navigate the healthcare system and provide clear instructions.Technology: Register patients in Biometrics and promote MyUPMC portal.Financial Advocacy: Educate patients on financial responsibilities and connect them to resources.Compliance: Verify insurance, obtain consent signatures, and follow HIPAA regulations.Admin Tasks: Handle phone calls, scan records, and perform office duties.Qualifications: Completion of high school or equivalent required.Experience with personal computer-based applications, various office equipment, and proficient typing skills preferred.Two years of experience in a medical, billing, fiscal, or customer service role preferred.Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.Prior experience with Medipac, Epic, or other health records systems preferred.Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:Act 31, Act 33, Act 34, Act 73.UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
