Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY:The Sr. FP&A Analyst plays a key role in driving the organization’s financial performance by independently preparing, analyzing, and interpreting complex financial data. This role partners closely with cross-functional and operational leaders to evaluate results, identify insights, assess risks and opportunities, and support strategic decision making. The position requires in-depth financial expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to apply best practices to improve reporting, forecasting, and analytical capabilities.Primary Duties And ResponsibilitiesLead the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and business relevant insightsAnalyze actuals vs. budget/forecast and independently interpret performance drivers; proactively identify risks, opportunities, and performance trendsDevelop, enhance, and maintain complex financial models, scenario analysis tools, and reporting templates to strengthen planning and decision supportDrive core components of the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting cycles, partnering with budget owners to understand assumptions and improve forecast accuracyPrepare and analyze deferred revenue reporting, including balance movement, roll-forwards, and trend analysis to support monthly forecasting and management reviewLead margin analysis and oversee the accuracy of vertical margin calculationsProvide analytical support for pricing strategy, cost optimization, business cases, capital investments, and enterprise initiativesPartner with cross functional teams and other functional leaders to evaluate performance and provide strategic insights‑ other functional leaders to evaluate performance and provide strategic insightsServe as a resource and informal coach for junior and mid‑level analysts by reviewing analysis, sharing best practices, and supporting developmentLead portions of cross functional initiatives, prepare executive ready presentations, and support strategic planning with data driven recommendationsMaintain strong governance over financial processes, ensuring adherence to accounting principles, audit standards and internal control requirementsMaintain high ethical standards and serve as a trusted advisor by providing fact‑based, unbiased financial insights—even when recommendations are unpopular Job RequirementsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in accounting, finance, or related field); advanced certifications or advanced degree is a plus3+ years of relevant finance or FP&A experienceAdvanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, data modeling); proficiency with BI/reporting tools preferredStrong experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle/SAP) and financial reporting tools (e.g. OneStream/Hyperion)Track record of AI adoption to improve processes and productivityStrong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial planning processesAbility to work on-site during core business hours; extended hours may be required during quarter and year-end close as well as budget and forecast cyclesAbility to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%Preferred Skills & ExperienceIn depth financial acumen with the ability to solve complex analytical problems using multiple data sources and informed judgmentDemonstrated ability to enhance reporting, streamline processes, or develop tools using best practices and business insightsStrong communication skills: able to synthesize complex data into clear recommendations for senior business partnersAbility to work independently with minimal guidance while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environmentStrong influencing skills and a proven ability to partner effectively across departmentsHigh attention to detail combined with strategic thinkingCuriosity, initiative, and willingness to take ownership of complex workstreams and cross functional deliverablesExperience leading process improvements across reporting, forecasting, and planning activities to increase accuracy, reduce manual effort, and improve decision supportA proactive and highly motivated individual with a commitment to excellenceIND123Target Market Salary RangeActual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs.
