Soldering experience is highly preferred. Starting wage may be adjusted higher based on relevant prior experience.
JOB SUMMARY
Assembles electronic products, wire harnesses, subassemblies, or systems via hand assembly or machine operation
JOB FUNCTIONS
The following core responsibilities apply to this position; additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Interpret work orders, production drawings, sample assemblies, and verbal instructions.
Operate production machinery in accordance with established procedures and work instructions.
Mount and secure components—including transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, lead wires, and sockets—onto chassis panels.
Install completed assemblies or subassemblies into cases and cabinets.
Perform intermediate assembly tasks such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, bonding, curing, stamping, etching, impregnating, and color-coding components and assemblies.
Adjust or trim components to meet specified electrical or dimensional requirements.
Conduct hand‑soldering in compliance with customer specifications and current IPC standards.
Maintain knowledge of company operating procedures and QMS requirements.
Immediately report any safety, quality, production, or personnel concerns to management.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
To be successful in this role, an individual should meet these minimum education and experience requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
To perform the job successfully, an individual should be able to meet the physical requirements of the position:
Work in a standing or sitting position and be able to twist, turn, reach, grip and bend.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a manufacturing environment using various pieces of equipment.
