John Mini is seeking a highly skilled Millworker to join our Fabrication team in the fabrication and installation of indoor and outdoor projects.As a Carpenter at John Mini, you will help build and install custom projects with a focus on fine carpentry, set construction, and field installation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex build conditions and working hands-on with a collaborative fabrication team.ResponsibilitiesPerform fine carpentry for custom indoor and outdoor projectsBuild components for set design and specialty installationsAssist with custom wood fabrication and assemblySupport indoor and outdoor project installationRead and work from architectural and fabrication drawingsSolve complex project conditions in the shop and in the fieldWork closely with the fabrication team to meet deadlinesHelp other departments when project needs require itWho We’re Looking ForSomeone seeking purpose in their work and long-term developmentSomeone with optimism, positivity, and a strong work ethicSomeone who values learning, teamwork, and craftsmanshipSomeone looking for a place to grow their career over timeQualificationsMinimum 3 years of millwork experienceExperience with fine carpentry. hardwood furniture and cabinetry. Ability to read and comprehend architectural and millwork drawingsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailHigh school diploma or GEDStrong communication and organizational skillsValid driver’s license and reliable transportationAbility to lift 75 lbs.Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
