You will provide research assistance for the Investment team while learning foundational portfolio management practices. You will have the opportunity to learn about FNBO, Wealth Management and to participate in day-to-day activities. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with FNBO's Wealth Management operations and investment processes.About This RoleKey Responsibilities: Investment Research:Contribute to the investment processAnalyze investment opportunities in assigned research areas, focusing on potential return and risk;Support investment committees to include Asset Allocation, Due Diligence, Alternatives and Fixed IncomeAttend and learn from the Trust Investment CommitteeSupport the investment team in all aspects of portfolio management and researchAssist with investment research presentationsPortfolio Management:Shadow experienced portfolio managers to learn best practices for managing fixed income, equities, and mutual funds.Assist with monitoring asset allocation and observing trade executions.Understand strategies based on the Trust Investment Committee’s approved list of investments.Learn how to construct diversified portfolios within client investment objectives and constraints.Assist with client portfolio management presentationsInstitutionalLearn our proprietary strategies and understand the inner workings of FNBO’s full investment suite.Assist with and pursue RFP opportunities as needed.Basic QualificationsThe Ideal Candidate for This Role:Enrolled student working towards a bachelor’s or advanced degree in related field.Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher after freshman year.Working knowledge of Microsoft office products.Ability to identify and recommend objective solutions to problems.Ability to present information and reporting in a clear and concise manner.Ability to work independently and multi-task while adhering to multiple timetables of completion.Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) during summer.Must work onsite 4 days per week.Desired QualificationsMust be a current university student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Investment Management or related field.Interest in Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) programCandidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.Work EnvironmentIt is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work onsite at the posted location.
