Junior Process Controls EngineerOn siteLocation: Reading, PAReports To/Team Dynamic: Construction & Outage Sequencing Lead / Sequencing TeamRate: Competitive based on experienceAbout the Role:The Junior Process Controls Engineer supports the Construction & Outage Sequencing team by assisting with the planning, coordination, and documentation of outage phases for maintenance, repair, or upgrade activities. This is an entry-level role designed for candidates early in their construction, engineering, or operations career who are interested in learning how outage sequencing and constructability principles support safe, efficient project execution.In this role, you will work closely with experienced Sequencers, Leads, and cross-functional partners to help ensure outage activities are well-organized, clearly communicated, and aligned with project timelines and operational needs. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to sequencing processes, scheduling tools, and real-world construction and outage environments.What You’ll Do:• Assist with the development and organization of outage phase sequences under theguidance of senior sequencers• Support review of outage plans to ensure tasks are logically ordered and align with basicconstructability principles• Help track resource needs (labor, equipment, materials) and update sequencingdocumentation as needed• Collaborate with project teams and operations partners to support coordination of outageactivities• Assist in monitoring outage progress and flagging potential issues or delays to thesequencing team• Maintain sequencing records, schedules, and related documentation in shared systems andtools• Follow and support safety standards and procedures throughout outage planning andexecutionWhat You Bring:• 0–2 years of experience in construction, engineering, maintenance, scheduling, or a relatedfield (internships and co-ops welcome)• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, ProjectManagement, or a related discipline (or in progress)• Basic understanding of construction or maintenance workflows and interest in outageplanning or sequencing• Strong attention to detail and ability to organize information clearly• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)• Willingness to learn scheduling and project management tools• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentWhy Join Us?• 401(k) Matching Plan• Medical, Dental, & Vision Plans• Relationship-Driven Process to Find Your Best Fit• 6 Paid Holidays• Regular Check-ins to Support Your Growth and EngagementAbout Us:At Brooksource, relationships are the foundation of everything we do.
