The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PostgreSQL development, database optimization, performance tuning, and enterprise data architecture.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and optimize PostgreSQL databases, SQL queries, PL/pgSQL functions, stored procedures, triggers, and indexes.Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and execution plan analysis.Design logical and physical data models for enterprise applications.Troubleshoot database issues and conduct root cause analysis.Collaborate with development, integration, and business teams in an Agile environment.Support database modernization, migration, and upgrade initiatives.Required Skills5+ years of Database Development experience.Strong PostgreSQL expertise (SQL, PL/pgSQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Indexing).Database Performance Tuning & Query Optimization.Data Modeling & Relational Database Design.Agile/Scrum experience.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Preferred SkillsETL & Data Integration.CI/CD and Database Deployment Automation.AWS or Azure exposure.Government/Public Sector experience.Note: Candidates may undergo a background check within Texas.
