Fund Accountant - Boston, MA Were partnering with a leading middle-market private investment firm to hire a Fund Accountant to support a rapidly growing credit platform (AUM ~$4B). This is a high-visibility role offering direct exposure to fund performance, portfolio activity, and cross-functional collaboration with investment and operations teams. The Opportunity: Join a top-tier firm with ~$20B+ AUM and a strong track record across private equity and credit Work closely with Investment, IR, Legal, Tax, and Treasury teams Gain hands-on exposure to how deal activity and portfolio performance drive fund-level results Help modernize processes through workflow automation and enterprise AI tools Key Responsibilities: Support quarterly close and investor reporting, including gross/net return calculations Prepare capital call and distribution allocations and notices Review financials, capital accounts, and fee calculations from third-party administrators Manage audit requests and coordinate with external auditors and fund administrators Maintain investor reporting portals and track investor activity/transfers Drive process improvements across reporting, reconciliation, and data workflows What Were Looking For: 24 years of experience in public accounting, fund administration, or investment management Exposure to private credit, private equity, or closed-end fund structures preferred CPA (or progress toward) strongly preferred Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical mindset Interest in leveraging AI/tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) to enhance efficiency Strong communication skills and attention to detail Comp & Benefits: $105K base + up to 20% bonus + additional transaction-based upside 100% employer-paid medical, dental, life & disability If youre interested, feel free to message Kyle Archer directly at karcher@daleyaa.com.
