Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Engineer located in Charlotte, NC. The Engineer will oversee and manage design, construction, and development processes for commercial real estate projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating project requirements, coordinating with architects, contractors, and internal stakeholders, performing site inspections, ensuring compliance with local codes and standards, and maintaining project timelines and budgets. The Engineer will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, sustainable, and cost-effective projects aligned with our corporate service culture. Qualifications Proficiency in project management, budgeting, and scheduling for construction projectsStrong knowledge of engineering design, construction techniques, and building codesExperience in coordinating with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teamsAnalytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailEffective verbal and written communication skills for interaction with stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlinesBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related fieldProfessional Engineering (PE) license, LEED accreditation, or equivalent is a plusExperience with commercial real estate development is highly valued
