Job Title : Advanced Operators Training Program Instructor
The Advanced Operators Training Program Instructor is responsible for providing expert-level training and instruction to support the Advanced Operators Training Program (AOTP) at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM). This position requires extensive knowledge and experience in Special Operations Forces (SOF) training, with a focus on Special Operations Combatives Program (SOCP) and advanced combat techniques. The instructor will work closely with the Partner and 1st Special Forces Group (1st SFG) to ensure the successful execution of the AOTP.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct Training Sessions:
· Deliver comprehensive instruction and training in various components of the AOTP, including SOCP, Advanced Low Visibility Shooters Courses (ALVSC), Special Forces Advanced Urban Combat (SFAUC) Courses, sustainment training, and self-defense/escalation of force techniques.
· Implement the Advanced Operators Tactical Conditioning Program into daily physical training (PT) sessions, following the established schedule.
· Adhere to the training schedule provided by the Special Forces Advanced Skills Company (SFASC) and ensure compliance with the 1st SFG (A) Advanced Operator Training Program Standing Operating Procedure (SOP).
2. Subject Matter Expertise:
· Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in SOCP, hand-to-hand combat techniques, and advanced combat skills.
· Advise and assist the Partner, 1st SFG (A), and government personnel in developing, evaluating, and improving the AOTP SOP.
· Stay updated on the latest developments, techniques, and best practices in SOCP and related training methodologies.
3. Required Certifications:
· Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in SOCP, hand-to-hand combat techniques, and advanced combat skills.
· Advise and assist the Partner, 1st SFG (A), and government personnel in developing, evaluating, and improving the AOTP SOP.
· Stay updated on the latest developments, techniques, and best practices in SOCP and related training methodologies.
4. Database Management:
· Assist in developing and maintaining the 1st SFG (A) Advanced Operator Training Program Qualification Database.
· Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of student qualifications, certifications, and training progress.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
· Collaborate with other instructors, training staff, and support personnel to ensure the effective delivery of the AOTP.
· Communicate regularly with the Partner, 1st SFG (A), and government representatives to provide updates on training activities, progress, and any issues that may arise

Pay: $14.49 - $48.36 per hour
