A behavioral health team is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (PMHNP, FNP, AGNP) to provide on-site psychiatric care in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities across Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska. This role focuses on geriatric mental health, offering flexible scheduling, strong clinical support, and consistent patient demand.Providers will deliver psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing care for patients in post-acute and long-term care settings.Key Responsibilities• Provide face-to-face psychiatric care in skilled nursing facilities• Conduct mental health evaluations and diagnose DSM-5 conditions• Manage psychotropic medications and treatment plans• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary care teams• Provide follow-up care and ongoing patient management• Document visits accurately in EMRQualifications• Active Nebraska NP license• DEA license with prescriptive authority• Experience in psychiatry, behavioral health, or geriatrics preferred• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills• Ability to work independently in facility-based settingsSchedule & Compensation• $130,000 – $195,000 base + incentives• Full-time (part-time options available)• Flexible scheduling – manage your own patient flow• 4 weeks PTO + 9 paid holidays• Full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), CEU support🚨 Hiring now!
