GENERAL SUMMARY Alexander’s Mobility Services is looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to design, maintain, and oversee the company's data systems and interfaces, particularly using Power BI. The BI Developer will transform data into clear charts and tables, presenting these insights to senior management to support informed business decisions. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Create and implement BI software and systems, including integration with databases and data warehousing. Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present complex data in an understandable and actionable format. Build and maintain data models to ensure the accuracy and relevancy of the data. Manage database performance, security, and integrity. Oversee data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources into a usable form for business analysis. Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate business requirements into technical solutions. Provide ongoing support and training to users on BI tools and data analytics. Perform regular maintenance and updates to existing BI solutions to enhance functionality and incorporate new data sources or analytics capabilities. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of the data used for analysis. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED Proven experience as a BI Developer. Strong knowledge of Power BI. Expertise in database management and data modeling, with a strong command of SQL. Experience with ETL tools and processes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members and stakeholders. Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical terms. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or 5 years experience. PHYSICAL AND MIND SET REQUIREMENTS Sitting 8 - 9 hours per day. Use of a computer, keyboard and telephone. Must be able to communicate effectively. Ability to read a computer screen, read and interpret technical business material. High analytical, mathematical and logic abilities to consider and evaluate the interrelationships of numerous factors. Ability to meet predefined deadlines and to succeed in high pressure situations. Ability to analyze a user vision, decipher, and turn into a data display. Ability to work at desk for long stretches WORKING ENVIRONMENT Position is preferred to be in-office but hybrid will be considered. Remote is not an option. Activities are performed indoors, at a desk or in a meeting environment. Mainly sitting at a computer. May have interruptions/noise.
