Career TEAM is looking to hire a dynamic Team Lead to support and lead a team of Career Advisors serving WIOA Adult and Dislocated Workers and Unemployed Job Seeker customers and connect them to high-quality jobs across Merced County, CA. Work will be performed under the WIOA (Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act) Program underneath the WorkSource umbrella in Atwater, Los Banos in Merced County. The Team Lead will be responsible for providing oversight and coaching to the Career Advisors, approving enrollment applications and funding requests for training and support services, assessing caseload shape and report monthly, training in case management activities related to the WIOA program design, and assisting with day-to-day operations of the Career Advisors. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. Career Team also offers a competitive package including: 401k with a generous employer match; Medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employee-sponsored HSA on any qualifying plans; Disability insurance; and supplemental insurance Your Impact on Career TEAM's Success: Oversee a team of Career Advisors staff who work in an integrated service delivery model Assess, manage, and maintain a caseload of new customers as well as carryover participants Track customers' progress in training, job search activities, and case notes monthly Develop and implement casework service plans for complex cases and assist Career Advisors in removing customer barriers Develops and implements strategies to incorporate a focus on performance objectives in the daily operations of organizational staff Helps drive customer success and positive outcomes for contractual measures Provides training and career coaching on assessments to help establish career goals aligned with the skill needs of area business and industry Prepares and presents reports of activities and accomplishments Build strong partnerships with community organizations to provide outreach and engagement for local WIOA programs Support Career Advisors who work in the community to ensure connectivity and strong partnerships Ensure compliance and data tracking metrics for outreach and funding source initiatives Provide staff development, coaching, and training to the team Generate and perform staff evaluations Provide leadership and direction to maximize performance forecasting and ensure financial sustainability and success Work in partnership with quality assurance and leadership team to build processes and team cultural understanding Support the Executive Director in day-to-day operations, program development, and staff development Approach each day and task with a "ZAG" mindset Other duties and projects as needed The Ideal Qualifications for this Position Include: Associate's degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience required; Experience and knowledge of WIOA and workforce development contracts/programs Ability to give presentations and workshops (public speaking) Demonstrated ability to be highly detail-oriented to successfully meet program requirements One year of experience working with unemployed and underemployed individuals Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines and work under pressure If you have the heart to serve this community and the drive to do so, we want to meet you Excellent verbal and written communication skills A Valid Driver's License Salary: $63,000 - $68,000 Salary is commensurate with education and experience. Travel: Position may require local travel up to 40% of the time.
