You'll develop AI agents and agentic workflows, build REST APIs and batch processes, and help keep applications secure, reliable and well documented.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop AI agents using Model Context Protocol (MCP) standardsBuild and optimize agentic workflows using AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot and DevinArchitect scalable, production-ready AI systems with strong error handling and monitoringDevelop REST API services and batch processing solutions in Python, including job schedulingWork with cross-functional teams to integrate AI agents into existing infrastructureTroubleshoot and tune agent performance and reliabilityRun code reviews and mentor junior developers on AI development best practicesWrite and maintain documentation for system architecture, APIs and deployment proceduresRun unit tests and peer code reviews, and maintain internally developed applicationsEvaluate and performance test third-party productsBuild IT controls into applications to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of dataRequired Qualifications5 years of professional experience in technical design and codingStrong Python skills, including the libraries used to build REST API servicesHands-on experience developing REST APIs, processing batch files and scheduling batch jobs in PythonSolid understanding of RESTful architectureExperience with Model Context Protocol (MCP)Experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen or similar orchestration toolsExperience with AI-assisted development ( "vibe coding ")Strong understanding of the systems development life cycle (SDLC)Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding standards, documentation and change managementExperience with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methodologiesBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experiencePreferred QualificationsHealthcare industry experience, especially in care management or provider domainsDatabase experience with SQL, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Cassandra or similarExperience with Microsoft Office and flowcharting tools such as VisioWhat Makes You a Great FitYou weigh libraries and tools methodically, comparing pros and cons against business and technical needsYou think critically and recommend solutions that support business goalsYou explain technical information clearlyYou take ownership, make sound decisions on your own and also work well on a teamYou're organized and analytical, and you adapt quickly when priorities changeYou're open to feedback and use it to improveWelcome to ConsultNet, a premier national provider of technology talent and solutions.
