Mentorship and professional development training are a focus throughout your entire career.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and maintain displays throughout the store to meet and exceed SCHEELS displayexpectationsManage store inventory of display supplies by following a designated budgetCoordinate with Specialty Shop Managers and Leadership to provide placement of frames, images and mannequins on floor planMaintain images and mannequins in line with current trends for the week, month, season, and specific store or corporate campaignsUnload product from freight. Tag, fold, hang and price merchandise to be put out on the sales floor or in back stockArrange merchandise in such a way to enhance the customer experienceAssist in executing the installation of all vendor paid endcapsMaintain orderly appearance of personal work space and surrounding areas.Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’sAbility to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other associates of the organizationAbility to be organized, multi-task and maintain all aspects of a display roleAbility to work independently and with the teamExercise judgment and tact and be able to effectively work with all levels within the organizationStrong oral/written communication and presentation skills to communicate effectively and in atimely mannerAbility to apply basic understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagramDemonstrates attention to detailBe professional in appearance and attitude, contribute to a positive team atmosphere, and treatothers with respect and consideration while following Scheels’ policies and proceduresWork assigned schedule; may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to be certified and trained to operate scissor lift or other required equipment.Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Scheels cares about the health and safety of our Associates.
