Mental Health Counselor/Therapist
Job summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide direct support and therapy to individuals with behavioral health needs. You will conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide individual and group counseling sessions. Your role will also involve maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring compliance with coding standards and HIPAA regulations.

- Conduct patient assessments to determine mental health needs
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Adhere to coding standards for accurate billing
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work or related field
- Valid state license or certification as a Mental Health Therapist
- Experience in behavioral health or related field preferred
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding standards
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
