Network Technician

We are seeking a network technician with a strong curiosity of technology, the ability to identify and correct root causes, passion to develop excellent technology solutions, and discipline to deliver consistent results. The ability to communicate with clients, teammates, and service providers effectively is paramount. The successful candidate will provide technology direction and solutions for a variety of small to mid-sized clients in healthcare, financial services, legal, manufacturing, and retail from our Appleton, WI office. You will be responsible for implementation of products and services, and providing service delivery oversight to achieve best in class service delivery In addition candidate must be compatible with our core values as follow : -Accounta le -Customer Foc sed -Passi nate -Resp nsive -Co mitted -C mpetent -Pro essional We hire & fire based on the above c re values Primary Respo bilities * Take excellent care of our gr clients! * Collaborate and innovate with service delivery teammates to develop new products a processes. * Provide operational support and technology consul g services. * Install, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows Server, Windows desktops, and net k equipment. * Triage, diagnose, and resolve technology issues quickly and implement preven ive measures. * Provide pre-sales engineering support to les personnel. * Install equipment, software and provide hnical support. * Document business processes, including system an etwork diagrams. * Position requires off hours on-call availability, home office, and automobile with surance coverage. * Maintain 65% Billa Utilization Rate. * Turn in weekly required documentation on a time & consistent basis. *Desi Skills & Experience* * Must be able to work independently with initiative, be a strong team player, have excellent interpersonal, customer service, and me management skills. * Demonstrated expertise deploying and supporting Microsoft Windows ver Operating Systems. * Demonstrated expertise deploying and supporting VPNs, firewalls, routers, remote access, WAN, and MPLS networks. Desire SonicWall UTM, SRA, and Mobile Dev Management experience. * Must know data back-up and recovery. Experience with current Image Based Server Backup Solutions, ShadowProtect, onis, and Datto desired. * Experience supporting MS SQL Server and MS Terminal S er environments required. * Demonstrated t nical documentation skills * Basic project management and financial skills related to pr ct budgeting and reporting. * Knowledge of server virtualization tec logies (VMware and Hyper-V). * Associate Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar discipline, along with eight or more years of demonstrated ability t erform at the highest levels. * Prior experience administrating a small to mid-size usiness IT environment a plus. * Certifications from Microso , CompTia and SonicWall desired Job Types: Full-time, P t-time Pay: $42,500.00 per year Expected rs: 20 – 40 per k Benefits: * De l insurance * Fl ble schedule ealth insurance * Paid time off * P ofessiona evelopment assis nce Schedule: * Monday to Friday Work Location: H ybrid remote in Appleton, WI 54911
