Apply via Dice today!Job SummaryData Solution Architect – Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Data Solution Architect to design, develop, and implement scalable data solutions that support business intelligence, analytics, and enterprise data management initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in data architecture, cloud platforms, databases, and modern data engineering practices.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign end-to-end data architecture and enterprise data solutions.Define data models, integration strategies, and data governance frameworks.Develop scalable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions.Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and engineering teams to understand data requirements.Lead cloud-based data transformation and modernization initiatives.Ensure data quality, security, compliance, and performance optimization.Support implementation of ETL/ELT processes and big data solutions.Provide technical guidance and best practices for data platforms and analytics systems.Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and architecture standards.Maintain architecture documentation and technical roadmaps.Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field.Strong understanding of:Data warehousing conceptsData modeling and database designETL/ELT frameworksData governance and securityBig data and cloud data platformsHands-on experience with:Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud PlatformSnowflakeDatabricksApache SparkExperience with SQL and relational/non-relational databases.Knowledge of BI and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.Preferred SkillsExperience with data lake and lakehouse architectures.Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code concepts.Understanding of AI/ML data integration workflows.Exposure to real-time streaming technologies like Apache Kafka.Preferred CertificationsMicrosoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer AssociateAWS Certified Solutions ArchitectGoogle Professional Data EngineerSnowflake SnowPro CertificationSoft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsLeadership and mentoring capabilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
