Warehouse Associate
The Warehouse Associate will work as part of a team with high attention to detail to ensure prompt, accurate and complete processing of receipts and shipments to/from the Company.Essential Functions:ShippingWork on computer using ERP and shipping softwarePrint all daily shipping related reports according to the Daily Shipping Clerk SchedulePreparation of orders for daily picking and shippingShip daily customer orders completely, timely and accuratelyInteract with other departments to ensure shipping is timely, accurate and completeAssist Receiving duties as neededUse of Portals for processing some shipmentsScan daily training information at end of dayReceivingPrompt receiving and distribution of any shipmentsReceiving and processing weekly freight shipments from mmag, mmkm & mmsNotify department of office supplies upon arrivalReceive incoming supplies from outside vendorsAssist in Shipping duties as neededPickingPick all shipping orders from stock dailyPick Kanban, Shop Orders & Material ReqsAssist with Shipping & Receiving when neededInventory ManagementDaily inventory managementArrange and organize stock based on Company policy (e.g. First-In, First-Out principal)Perform monthly cycle count of inventoryPerform year-end inventoriesMiscellaneousContinually maintain warehouse in a clean, organized fashion (incl. waste removal, sweeping, etc.)Complete and file all appropriate paperwork in organized and prescribed formatRequest necessary supplies of supervisor, or order as appropriately authorizedAssist in training new employees on shipping functions and daily tasksManage maintenance of forklift and other warehouse equipmentAdditional SkillsMust be dependable, conscientious and detail-orientedAbility to work respectfully and cooperatively with others at all levels of a companyAbility to complete assigned workloads in a timely and accurate mannerAbility to operating a forklift – training availableMust be computer literate – experience with shipping software is preferredWork EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional, dynamic office environment and regularly utilizes state-of-the-art technology including computers with high-speed internet access, AI, smartphones with various communication apps, cloud-connected multifunction printers, and digital filing systems.
