The section is staffed by six full-time board certified radiologists (including Peds/MSK, Peds/Neuro, and Peds/IR trained faculty). The Mattel Children's Hospital has 115 dedicated Pediatric beds (93 pediatric, 23 neonatal), the outpatient care facility also includes a children's clinic and pediatric radiology installations. Over 70,000 examinations are performed per year in general pediatric imaging as well as, pediatric fluoroscopic exams, ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, PET-CT, and non-vascular interventional radiology.
