The Investor Operations function plays a critical role in supporting capital raising efforts and maintaining high-quality relationships with institutional investors.Position OverviewThe Senior Associate (Team Lead) will oversee a team responsible for investor onboarding, documentation, and data governance. This is a player-coach leadership role sitting at the intersection of Legal, Fund Accounting, and Business Development.The position serves as the primary escalation point for complex onboarding matters, manages team workflow during high-volume fundraising periods, and ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely execution across all investor accounts.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & OversightServe as the primary escalation point for investor onboarding and documentation issuesLead, mentor, and develop a team of investor operations professionalsMonitor team capacity, workflow, and performance metrics; reallocate resources as neededDrive accountability, quality control, and continuous improvement across the teamInvestor Onboarding & DocumentationOversee onboarding of new investors, including review of subscription documents and legal agreementsManage AML/KYC processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirementsCoordinate internal review and approval workflows across multiple stakeholdersEnsure timely and accurate processing of investor account setup and maintenanceCross-Functional CollaborationPartner closely with Legal, Compliance, Fund Accounting, and Business Development teamsCoordinate with external counsel and third-party service providers as neededLead meetings and calls with internal and external stakeholders related to onboarding and documentationSupport broader investor communications and operational initiativesData Governance & Process ManagementEnsure accuracy and integrity of investor data within CRM systemsMaintain and improve documentation workflows and internal processesSupport reporting and tracking related to onboarding activity and investor recordsIdentify opportunities to enhance efficiency, scalability, and controlsQualificationsBachelor’s degree required5+ years of experience in investor services, investor relations operations, fund administration, or middle office roles within asset management, private equity, or private creditPrior experience managing or mentoring team members requiredStrong understanding of AML/KYC requirements and investor onboarding processesExperience reviewing subscription documents and fund-related legal documentationHigh attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) is a plusAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environmentWork Model & CompensationHybrid schedule (in-office Tuesday–Thursday)Dallas-based roleBase salary target: ~$110,000-$130,000Bonus: 10–15% targetComprehensive benefits package including strong healthcare coverage, retirement plan, and wellness programsWhy This RoleHigh-visibility leadership role within a growing investor operations functionOpportunity to manage and scale a critical onboarding and documentation teamDirect exposure to fundraising activity and institutional investor interactionsStrong internal mobility and career progression opportunitiesCollaborative, high-performance culture with low turnover
