Certified Surgical Technologist Instructor

We currently have a rewarding teaching opportunity available for the right candidate. We are seeking an Instructor to deliver our established Surgical Technology curriculum. The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements: -A minimum of 3 years experience in the operating room in the scrub role within the last 5 years prior to teaching or 3 years teaching in the field. - CST credential -Associate degree in Surgical Technology from an accredited institution -Must have excellent communication and presentation skills -First Aid and CPR certification -Familiarity with all surgical instruments and equipment -Ability to lift 50 lbs. -Working knowledge of sterile and aseptic technique - Assisting with student labs delivering curriculum - Assist in the placement of graduates Job Type: Full-time days Monday-Friday 8:30-5 pm Job Location: St. Louis, MO Required experience: -A minimum of 3 years experience in the operating room in the scrub role within the last 5 years prior to teaching or 3 years teaching in the field.
