Accounting Operations Specialist

POSITION TITLE: Accounting and Finance & Operations AssociateTLDR: San Diego-based global leader company creating proprietary tech for elite motorsports, aviation, and aerospace customers. We’re seeking a Finance & Operations Associate with strong accounting skills. It's hands-on, high-variety, and requires someone who genuinely likes keeping the machine running. You'll own the day-to-day financial operations, support purchasing and inventory, and pitch in across logistics and admin when it counts.On any given week, that looks like:Coding and reconciling invoices, credit card receipts, and employee timesheets in QuickBooksProcessing expense reports and supporting monthly/annual close with our external accountantCreating purchase orders and sourcing vendors through our ERP systemSupporting inventory planning, physical counts, and supply chain trackingHandling international shipment documentation and customs coordinationBacking up teammates across logistics and production scheduling when neededHelping maintain the employee handbook, manage company events, and keep internal operations running smoothlyWhy This Is An Awesome OpportunityTheir team regularly travels to elite global racing events, so this isn't a desk-only job. Extraordinary growth opportunities and stability and not a place that buries good people in bureaucracy.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field3-7 years of professional experience that includes real accounting, financial analysis, and/or bookkeeping work2+ years of general operational work across multiple departmentsStrong QuickBooks skills (or similar software), Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency required.ERP experience a plus (SAP, Dynamics 365, or similar)PERSONALITY TRAITS: Someone who's detail-obsessed, follows through without being reminded, and can juggle multiple priorities, herd cats, and proactively problem solve, without losing their mind or cool.LOCATION: On-site, full-time in San Diego.
