As a Foster Care Case Manager, you’ll be a trusted advocate—helping guide children and families through challenging transitions while ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met.What You’ll DoCase Management & Client Support Manage a caseload of foster care cases, providing ongoing support and advocacy Build relationships with children, caregivers, and families to support stability and well-being Offer guidance, referrals, and mentoring to those involved in each casePlacement Coordination & Court Involvement Coordinate initial placements and any necessary changes in placement Prepare for and attend court hearings, providing updates and documentation Support children and caregivers through transitions with hands-on involvementCollaboration & Communication Partner with referral sources, courts, agencies, and community organizations Maintain consistent communication with all stakeholders involved in each case Advocate for appropriate services and support systemsDocumentation & Compliance Maintain accurate and timely case records, reports, and required documentation Track client progress and ensure compliance with all program and regulatory standardsWhat You Bring Bachelor’s degree in social work or related human services field required State of Michigan licensure preferred At least 1 year of experience in child welfare preferred Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills Ability to work independently while managing a dynamic caseloadAdditional Requirements Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with a good driving record Reliable personal transportation and current automobile insurance Willingness to participate in a 24-hour on-call support system as neededWhat Sets You Apart Passion for working with children and families Ability to navigate complex, emotionally challenging situations Strong advocacy and problem-solving skills Commitment to making a difference in the lives of youthMake a Difference That LastsIf you're ready to take on meaningful, impactful work and help shape brighter futures for children in foster care, we’d love to meet you.Apply today and help change a child’s story!#socialwork #childwelfare #humanservices #youth #mentoring #counseling #placement
