Job Summary and QualificationsCardiac Cath Lab Nurse Registered Nurses (RNs) provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and the public about various health conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members. RNs must use independent and considerable judgment in providing a wide variety of services. As directed by a physician, RNs also give patients medicines and treatmentsWhat you will do in this role:You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate all nursing care.You will react accordingly to emergencies.You will administer medications & IV conscious sedation under physician's direction.You will scrub andassistphysician during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies.You will provide accurate and timely nursing documentation inMediTechandCamtronicsYou will record, monitor, and demonstrate understanding of hemodynamicmeasurements and valve areas.Rotating call schedule for weekendsWhat qualifications you will need:Graduate of an accredited School of Professional NursingCurrent Nursing (RN) licensure by Tennessee Board of NursingCurrent BLS certificationMust have ACLS or complete ACLS training within 6 months of hire At least 1 Year of Critical Care RN experience: ICU, ERCardiac Cath Lab experience preferredBenefitsTriStar Hendersonville Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
