DescriptionThe Department of Philosophy and Religion at Clemson University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy, a one year position renewable for up to 3 years. Employment to begin August 15, 2026. Ph.D. in Philosophy required at that time. AOS: Philosophy of law, AOC open.The successful candidate will be expected to teach core courses in the Law, Liberty, and Justice concentration of the philosophy major: Intro to Law, Liberty, and Justice; Philosophy of Law; Crime and Punishment. The ability to teach social and political philosophy as well as other intro-level classes would be an asset.
