Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Engineer based in Cottage Grove, MN. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components, utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to research and development projects. The role involves overseeing machine design tasks, managing projects from concept to completion, and ensuring that all designs meet industry standards and client specifications. Qualifications Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering principles, particularly in mechanical system design and developmentExperience in Machine Design, including prototyping and development of manufacturing processesAdvanced skills in using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for drafting and modelingStrong Project Management skills, with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and team coordination effectivelyKnowledge and experience in Research and Development (R&D), innovative problem-solving, and process optimizationOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaborationBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldExperience in medical device manufacturing or similar industries is a plusFamiliarity with regulatory compliance and quality assurance processes is advantageous
