Docupace is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Developer for a remote role based in Philadelphia, PA. Fully remote; however, candidates MUST already live within commuting distance of the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area (PA, NJ, DE) at the time of application.Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer. We are unable to sponsor or transfer visas for this role.Summary of Position:We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer with strong SQL skills to join our team. Our product, ComplianceEdge, provides the wealth management space with a robust, secure compliance platform that meets regulatory and auditability requirements. It has an industry-leading rules engine and alert tuning to achieve low false-positive rates, deep investment in data normalization across custodians and feeds, and builds audit-grade traceability into workflows. ComplianceEdge isn’t generic compliance automation; it is a purpose-built RegTech platform for financial services.The ideal candidate possesses a mastery of SQL (especially with large SQL codebases), experience working on server-side web platforms, the ability to communicate within and across teams, and a willingness to ask questions. Experience in or around finance would be helpful.The team you will be working alongside is a cohesive group of experienced developers with a strong team dynamic. We are spread across the US, with most of the team around the Philadelphia, PA area.Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Design and DevelopmentDesign, develop, test, and maintain software applications according to specifications and business requirementsWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented codeTranslate business requirements and user stories into technical solutionsBuild and optimize database objects such as stored procedures, tables, views and functionsDesign and contribute to database architecture and data pipelinesTroubleshoot performance bottlenecks throughout the application (frontend, middle tier API, backend DB)Build and maintain full-stack features in our applicationPractical use of AI based coding assistants and agentsCode Quality and TestingPerform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure software reliabilityParticipate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge across the teamCollaborationWork closely with architects, product team, designers, QA, and other developers to define and ship featuresParticipate in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups and refinements.
