About the Opportunity:The Program Coordinator within the Office of the Chief Nursing Officer plays a pivotal role in managing the daily operations of contract staff systems. This position serves as the expert resource for agency and contract employee management, collaborating closely with managed service providers and other partners to effectively recruit and onboard contract employees. The role supports multiple nursing and allied departments by overseeing contract staffing operations, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring alignment with departmental goals and data metrics.3. Responsibilities:• Manage daily operations of agency vendor management system for contract and temporary nursing staff• Serve as expert resource for agency, traveler, and contract staffing needs• Partner with managed service providers and agency companies for recruitment and onboarding• Support multiple nursing and allied health departments in contract staffing management• Collaborate with supervisor to evaluate and improve staffing processes and strategies• Lead monitoring and execution of departmental goals, data tracking, projects, and objectives4. Requirements:• Minimum 6 months experience in staff training (precepting), formal or informal• At least 1 year hands-on experience with UKG (formerly Kronos) software• Minimum 1 year experience using Microsoft Office Suite• At least 1 year experience in healthcare staffing or contingent worker management• Preferred: High school diploma or GED• Preferred: Associate’s degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field• Preferred: 1 year consulting with frontline leaders on complex initiatives, business challenges, and service levels5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:• Pay range varies by location, minimums from $20.43 to $27.92 per hour and maximums from $31.27 to $42.73 per hour• Placement within wage range depends on job experience and other factors• Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses6.
