What You Will Be Doing: You will be the Lead Tool Room/Material Handler for the ICS Aircraft Maintenance Team which is responsible for supporting F-35 maintenance operations at Luke AFB, AZ. As the Lead Tool Room/Material Handler you will be responsible for overseeing the tool room's equipment, materials, and related programs that enable the Integrated Contractor Support (ICS) aircraft maintenance effort. Your responsibilities will include: Issue and track tool/test equipment, monitor calibration schedules, and ensure serviceability of all assets. Perform daily inventories and inspections, document and replace broken tools, and maintain accurate records in the logistics system. Manage HazMat usage, document expenditures in the HazMat Management System, store materials safely, and provide Safety Data Sheets to maintainers. Oversee ordering, receiving, and storage of parts and equipment while following government supply-warehouse procedures. Provide on-the-job training to employees and government personnel and sustain operations when ALIS is unavailable. Who You Are: Detail-oriented, collaborative professional with proven experience managing tool rooms and material handling in a high-tempo aerospace environment. Comfortable lifting up to 50 lb, performing repetitive motions, and working overhead. Strong safety focus, able to obtain an interim secret clearance, and committed to delivering reliable support to the F-35 mission. Further Information About This Opportunity: MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an Interim Clearance to start with the ability to obtain a Final Secret Clearance. Must have a valid Driver's License and be able to pass forklift operating requirements Physical Requirements: Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist. Desired skills: Experience in Fifth Generation Aircraft Maintenance / Supply Chain Management / Tool Room Working experience and/or knowledge of Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) Involvement in Portable Maintenance Aid (PMA) activities such as aircraft forms documentation and supply chain management activities Ability to coordinate with Item Managers, Supply Service Providers, and Maintenance Logistics Support Manager on logistics issues as they arise Knowledgeable of Supply, HazMat, Training, Quality, Foreign Object Debris (FOD), and Security programs Familiarity with OSHA, AFOSH, NAVOSH, and state safety and health standards and regulations Experience and understanding of Air Force Instruction (AFI) 21-101 Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Capable of rapidly assimilating and utilizing multiple versions of asset controlling software and programs Knowledge of the USAF Hazardous Material Management System Practical knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) Working knowledge of barcode readers Forklift Certified Other Important Information: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Ability to work remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedule Information: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
