Registered Nurse (RN) - Open Heart / CVOR - Kissimmee, FL Job Type: Full-Time | On-SiteShifts: Days: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (12*3)Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Open Heart (CVOR) Registered Nurse to join its Cardiovascular Operating Room team. This role supports complex cardiac surgical procedures in a high-acuity, collaborative environment at a Level II Trauma and teaching hospital.Key Responsibilities• Provide direct perioperative nursing care for open heart and cardiovascular surgical procedures• Assist surgeons during cardiac surgeries, including pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases• Maintain sterile field and ensure patient safety throughout procedures• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes during surgery• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and surgical staff• Adhere to hospital protocols, evidence-based practices, and safety standardsRequirements:• Minimum 1 year of Open Heart (CVOR) RN experience in an acute care setting (required)• Active Florida RN license or compact license• Compact license holders must obtain Florida license within 60 days of relocation• BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA Healthcare Provider) - required• BSN preferred• CNOR preferred
